Turkish Glue Is A Thermochemical Method In The Treatment Of Varicose Vein.
We treated varicose veins with more than 4000 glue methods. We investigated whether there was a thermal reaction due to burning and warmth under our hands during the procedure in a significant part of the patients. We used the increased saphenous vein with the permission of the patient who had bypass operation in vitro. Glu was given and pressure was created in accordance with the procedure. The temperature was obvious. Then the sections of the saphenous vein were examined histopathologically. At the end of the examination, thermal damage changes were observed, especially in the intima. These changes were similar to those in laser treatment. However, they did not progress to the media layer. Laser therapy is a thermal method in varicose veins.
